Rosso di Montalcino
A brilliant and expressive red wine produced in Montalcino by the youngest vineyards of the company. The result is a classic Tuscan red that has all the grace and strength of youth of a Sangiovese di Montalcino.
Rosso di Montalcino has been recognized as a wine with a designation of origin in 1983. As Montalcino is a land particularly devoted to the production of excellent wines, for the first time in Italy it has been granted the possibility of producing two denominations of origin from the same vineyards .
Brunello intended for long aging and Rosso di Montalcino with a fresh and lively style. It can be produced only from Sangiovese grapes and can be placed on the market from the beginning of September of the year following that of the harvest.
Like Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino is an excellent expression of the Montalcino tradition and terroir.
