The Vignalta Pinot Nero is a unique wine for the region. It undergoes whole cluster fermentation to gives this wine additional complexity and distinct character. After fermentation the wine spends time in French oak barrels before being bottled and is held for release until Lucio deems it ready. This wine is highly characterized by each vintage and maturation period, making it distinctly different with every bottling. Persistent aromatics of deep, stewed fruits fill the bouquet and often lean into the palate in this robust Pinot Nero.
