The Contrada Salandra Falanghina is rich and full-flavored. Delicately vegetal, there are aromas of mushroom, subdued yellow fruit, and earth. Classically restrained on the palate; dry fruit, nuttiness, and a touch of yeast accompany this fairly full-bodied and persistent Falanghina. It finishes with an elegant and slightly creamy expression.
Varietal: 100% Falanghina Region: Campania Vinification: Soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with 24-36 hour maceration. Kept on the lees through malolactic fermentation. Maturation: 12 months in stainless steel, 12 months in bottle. Recommendation: Excellent with grilled fish dishes and white meat.
